Throughout Europe, the proportion of older people in the population is growing, people have to work longer, and the average age of workers is increasing. It is therefore important to:
- Create safe and healthy workplaces for workers of all ages.
- Ensure people can reach the end of their working career in good health.
This e-guide provides practical information, tips and examples related to the ageing of the workforce and the opportunities it brings along. It focuses on how age-related challenges can be addressed at work.
The content of the e-guide has been tailored to four different audiences: employers, workers, HR managers and OSH professionals (including, for the purpose of this e-guide, workers’ representatives, health and safety representatives and labour inspectors). Throughout the e-guide it is possible to switch between profiles.
